Abstract: The purpose of ISART is to explore the future use of existing and emerging radio technologies. To this end, the conference brings together a diverse collection of people from academia, business, and government to discuss not only the technical aspects of the technology, but also economic pressures and regulatory realities. This year's agenda included presentations on quality of experience, the use of radio for public safety applications, mobile network architecture, and cognitive/ adaptive/ software defined radio systems.
