Abstract: This is the third in a series of reports describing the results of studies to determine the location of sources of harmful interference to the HF broadcasting service. Using observations recorded during the June 1986 monitoring program conducted under the auspices of the International Frequency Registration Board, and observations from monitoring stations coordinated by the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences, the report identifies frequently observed emitters of harmful interference and their locations, notes the extent of such interference with programs of leading international broadcast organizations, and examines the extent of such interference on programs not specifically targeted for harmful interference.
