Abstract:

The 1999 International Symposium on Advanced Radio Technologies focused on state-of-the-art and future trends in satellite communication technologies and applications. Session presentations by leading experts in satellite communications from government, industry, and academia were followed by forward-looking open round table discussions on future directions in technologies and related issues. An interactive dialogue with the audience is desired where symposium participants are encouraged to share their ideas and opinions on relevant technologies and future trends.
