Abstract: Results of measurements of basin transmission loss over 400 and 600 miles paths are presented in the form of distributions of hourly medians for frequencies in the 100 to 1000 Mc range. The paths extend southeastward from the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies, and transmitting antennas were located at 6200, 7500, 8800, and 14,100 feet mean above sea level. Data are available for periods representing typical summer and winter months.
Keywords: antenna gain; measurements; transmission loss; tropospheric propagation
