Numerical maps of monthly median h’F, F2 for solar cycle minimum and maximum

Abstract: Numerical maps of h IF, F2 were prepared for all 12 months of 1954, a solar cycle minimum year, and of 1958, a solar cycle maximum year. To fill major gaps in the world coverage of observed data for these years, we used some supplementary data observed in other years. Tables of coefficients of numerical maps of h'F, F2 are given for 4 typical months for the solar cycle minimum and maximum years. Sample contour maps, derived from the numerical maps of h IF, F2 are discussed.
