Abstract: The results of three research projects for the period January 1968 through December 1968 are reviewed. The first was to develop a program (ALLMODES) that presents circuit data for the 7 most probable ionospheric sky-wave transmission modes. The second was to provide a program (QUILT) to display the parameters of HF propagation at a grid of 323 points to show trends in any direction from a transmitter or receiver location. The third was an attempt to provide short-term predictions for the European-Near East area, similar to the predictions for the Southeast Asia area. Progress was made in securing the required data, but the work was discontinued when funds were exhausted.
