An analysis of the pre­dicted HF station/frequency usage for the USCG Pacific AMVER communication system

Abstract: The Pacific Basin AMVER communications system was examined over extremes of ionospheric and noise parameters. An analysis was made of the station-frequency pairs available for communicating to 286 simu­lated ship positions in the area and recommendations made for the most useful station/frequency pair assignments.
