Abstract: The Institute for Telecommunication Sciences provided technical assistance to the Maritime Administration in the development of a digital selective calling system for use by the maritime mobile service. This report summarizes the work performed on the groups of CCIR and to R TCM, as well as other important memorandum.reports, are included as appendices to this report.
