Abstract: The Regional Administrative Radio Conference will be convened in 1983 for planning broadcasting-satellite service in the International Telecommunication Union Region 2 to resolve the issue of allocating orbital positions and radio frequencies in the band 12.1-12.7 GHz. In the United States the band 12.2-12.7 GHz has also been allocated to fixed service. This domestic sharing issue must be resolved in part or in total as part of the United States preparations for the 1983 RARC. This research expands on selective conditions for domestic sharing, and concludes that sharing is possible, but only under several restrictive conditions.
